Getting to the Bottom of the Ballot's Candidate Fair
A Neighborhood Celebration of Democracy
Thursday, October 17th, 7-9 p.m.
Lake Harriet School Upper Campus, 50th Street & Washburn Ave. S.

-Candidates from School Board to U.S. Senate invited to participate - over
30 candidates confirmed so far, including candidates for Lt. Governor,
Secretary of State, State Auditor, State House & Senate, and School Board

- Talk politics with candidates and your neighbors over food from Famous
Dave's

- No speeches or debates - this is a chance for you to talk one to one with
the candidates

- Pick up a copy of A New Guide to State and Local Elections at the event
for elected office job descriptions, salaries, budget responsibilities, and
examples of how their work impacts us (originally published in the August
19th edition of the SW Journal)
