Another idea for Becky and others to get home would be to request the extension
of Stevens Ave. two way traffic one block North from 28th to 27th Street.
This would allow people who live North of 28th St. on Stevens, 2nd, 3rd, Clinton,
and 4th Avenues a way to get home without using the Charlestown Estates Alley.

This would also allow people driving on Lake St., or exiting on from 35W, to visit the
Institute of Arts, etc. the option of using a city streets rather than an overused
alley.

Another benefit would be that it would be easier for the Police to view and retard the
blatant drug sales in front of 2728 Stevens.

In coming home for the last few Sundays, I find myself taking the 31st/Lake
Street exit and then shooting over to the Wells Fargo parking garage. I also
know it's only a few turns to the Hospital. This is not all that bad for
those two businesses. I however wonder why I have to take this round about
way to get to my apartment on 24th & 3rd Avenue. Then I remember that
residents on Stevens Avenue in Whittier made that happen without many their
Whittier neighbors in mind.
