Fred, while you and I may have in the past had some differences on City
policy, I can only stand in awe of the incredible wordsmithing done in this
post. You say a "precisely placed insect bite sometimes trumps all sorts of
planned supervision", and I can only add that so does a precisely placed
"word".  I am glad to have such a precise fellow fly doing the buzzing. The
precision of your rhetoric and metaphor in this post leave me with both
admiration and some jealousy. Your single line of tracks across the minds
meadow are certainly easier to follow than my stomping around.
