Hi, all:

I'm glad you like the bunny, Jan.  As best as I
recall, the rabbit is the offspring of a Gateway Arts
grant awarded to HPDL about two years ago.  A
competition was held to choose the best work to
welcome people to the neighborhood, and Jeff Barber's
rabbit proposal won.  (Jeff is a Minnesota artist, but
not of the Minneapolis ilk.)  This should be the only
rabbit of its kind, unless Jeff chooses to allow
copies to be made.

The rabbit should receive its name sometime next
month.  Jeff has chosen "Cottontail on the Trail,"
though "Bunnyhaha" sounded good to a few of us. 
Something tells me "That Rabbit Sculpture" will
prevail, just the same.
