Just to introduce myself - My name is Richard Apperly and I run a web development company here in Melbourne, Australia.
I have been trying for some time to chase up some outstanding payment for work that was commissioned by Keith Hammond from the MTTA last year. I am aware of the plight of MTTA but am not sure what happened to Mr Hammond. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice as to whether I am fighting a lost cause or not. To date, we are still owed around US$3,200 for services rendered. At the time of us being commissioned, I was under the impression that the school was being underwritten by the Minneapolis Public Schools Board (not sure if that is the correct name or not). Given they pulled the pin, I would have thought they had some obligation to notify creditors that they were doing so. Anyway, can anyone in this forum shed any light on what my chances are of recovering some monies? We are a relatively small business. Our contractors have been paid for the work and taxes paid. Loss of this much does harm business.
