I don't think it's proper to forward to the entire list a message that was
clearly meant for off list, especially when the message would have been
considered inappropriate for the list.  I don't think it makes sense to
further inflame the list with snide comments when the original poster did
not intend the message for the list.

If you don't want flames in your personal mailbox, don't post.  And if
you're going to post "a different take" on a topic, you should expect flames
in your personal mailbox.
