For once, I'm saying YES to something. A member asked offlist if the ban on statewide topics means no discussing legislative races here. No - it's ok to talk about races in the districts within Minneapolis. Statewide topics will inevitably come up, but your post must focus on specific differences between the candidates - if it isn't pinned to a Minneapolis candidate or a Minneapolis-specific issue, then it's out of bounds.
Also, on Hennepin County judges: although they are really a county-wide and not really Minneapolis-specific thing, the races really don't get enough attention and you can argue that the crimes judges must deal with disproportionately affect Minneapolis. So feel free to educate us with your views, within the normal list rules.
