Hi List!

I wanted to respond to Wendy about the Paris Friday (Saturday?) Night
Skate.

Minneapolis has had a Friday Night Skate for the past 6 years. Skaters
have been skating throughout the street of Minneapolis from June until
it snows on the 1st 3rd and 5th Fridays inscribing a loop from Saint
Anthony Main to Loring Park and back. The organizers have decided to
schedule it every other week consequently they miss many beautiful
Friday nights and have an event scheduled on rainy nights that don't
draw large crowds.

I think if we had a weekly event it could become a huge event like the
one in Paris. Right now the current organizers do nat have the
inclination to change their schedule.
