Jim Graham says, "RT, you need to stop listening to that pack of development people you have and get back to listening to neighborhood people. Listen to the people and trust what they say."
MM: So what does RT do when "neighborhood people" have different things to say? Who should he listen to and trust then? Because I'm a neighborhood person and I agree with about 99% of what this mayor has done. So if he listens and trusts what I say, he would be doing exactly what he is doing. Yet if he did that, he would be offending Jim Graham and the the people he knows. Hmmm. Sounds like there might be some competing demands for a person running a large city. And then let's throw in the demands the budget deficit gives and a critical legislation that is probably on the verge of cutting our local government aid with this new Governor. And then let's look at the needs of this city - specifically, the need to add more housing now and over the next 20 years. In my opinion, RTs job is not as simple as listening to one group of people and doing what they say.
