It seems a little far fetched to me to suggest that the voters of Minneapolis should abandon their political principles because a handful of individuals (two of them elected) engaged in illegal activity. If the illegal activity was condoned by the DFL leadership or if the policies forwarded by DFL elected officials somehow intentionally encouraged or allowed corruption to prevail, then it might be a relevant suggestion. But last I checked, the current DFL leadership in Minneapolis has zero tolerance for corruption and is actively working to create policies that will make it harder for individuals to stray from the straight and narrow. I think this recent incident is merely serving as an excuse for the minority opposition to call for an overthrow.
