I want Captain Capslock to know that I use EVERY OPPORTUNITY I get now to do my East-West drives on Franklin. I just have to see this famous criminal activity that saturates the neighborhoood. I'm sad to report I haven't seen a thing yet. Last trip East on Franklin from Nicollet to Minnehaha, the streets seem deserted. Guess criminals in Philips are winter hibernators. Or maybe only those with "special glasses" can see them. ____________________________________________
My thanks to Vicky Heller for the breakdown of our city's collections and disbursements. I did find it odd that the amounts seemed so close already to my general notion of priorities. Looks like cost-cutting will either involve MUCH more efficient ways of doing present things..............or simply reducing what we do. Health and welfare, if you totally deleted it, wouldnt make a dent in the problem.
