I think to run in a ward, you must live in that ward, even if it is just across the street, Or in the new lines. The fact of the matter is that this race has turned into a free for all race. To run in one ward then go to another ward, because there is an opening, I just don't get it. I think in the scheme of thing's, people seem to have forgotten that we are real people here, with real issues.

I have been here for 9 years and whether it be myself or another candidate that lives "WITHIN" the ward, needs to stand on the current issues, not of what is shown on the news, but everyday issues and struggles that don't make it to the news and it seems to me this most important thing is getting lost.

This ward is my everyday life, this is not a joke. Nor is it a joke to have a car load of thugsters/gangsters ride down the street and point a gun at you or your four year old child, while you sitting on the front steps (of your own house)trying to keep cool. Nor is it a joke that the only time you can get decent nights rest is in the winter time, cause it's to cold for the "bad man" to be out. Nor is it a joke that I have to keep my daughter in the house to play because of constant shooting...

I could have sold my house and moved somewhere else, but I didn't, Why?? Because I and my family are in love with our house and our neighbors. I couldn't get friends to come over here and visit after dark, why?? because of the thing's that happen here. But, I did not move....Why?? Because of the commitment.

Again, I must say, that this is about the people and the ward and not about us, which I think people have forgotten all about.

And, yes Dyna, for now, it is all quiet on crack street.....
