The head of the Minneapolis Urban League
said Sunday that he's disappointed that
his group has not been invited to
community-police mediation talks that
begin this week.
However, Clarence Hightower, the league's
president and CEO, said, a worse omission
would occur if most of the people chosen
to represent the community are not black men
and clergy members
