Its walk is less good, as admit several union members/stewards I have spoken to over the years. Just being better than the GOP - whoopie-ding! - is not good enough. The DFL should for example have fought hard for single payer health care, even at a city level if no higher level would take it up. It let Target off with bypassing the living wage. Etc. In short it is much more corporate-friendly than it as the people's party has any right to be. Therefore, the following "therefore" is not very persuasive. > Therefore, it makes sense that organizations that > bargain and represent the workers (steelworkers, public employess, > carpenters, printers, painters, electrical workers, autoworkers, > teachers, etc) would support candidates that belong to a Party that has > shown a committment to their issues. --David Shove Roseville _______________________________________ Minneapolis Issues Forum - A City-focused Civic Discussion - Mn E-Democracy Post messages to: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Subscribe, Unsubscribe, Digest, and more: http://e-democracy.org/mpls
