Posts from Jason Goray and Susan Maricle raised a very interesting
question to my mind. Who speaks for Olin Moore?
Martha, I speak in support of Olin Moore. But I speak only for myself. I speak in support of Olin Moore because he is the candidate that best personifies my values and those of the Democratic Farmer-Labor Party.

I criticize Don Samuels' positions on the issues, but I have the highest respect for him as a person. I am saddened when a person that calls themselves a Democratic Farmer-Labor candidate would insult working folks by refusing to take their campaign printing to a union shop, especially when one is located in the community.

And I am further saddened that folks that call themselves DFLers support a candidate who insults working folks as Don Samuels has. On another list I'm on their is some discussion on the need to return the DFL to it's core value, representing working people. I support that effort, and will work diligently to elect a candidate that represents the DFL's core constituency, working folks. That candidate is Olin Moore.

Generally, I'm a list lurker (and not terribly faithful at that), but
the 3rd ward race is vitally important to the city as a whole. Now that
the primary has distilled an exciting array of candidates down to two,
it seems especially appropriate for campaign spokespersons to identify
themselves upfront. The Samuels campaign seems to have done this with
posts that are challenging but respectful of the candidates and of
democratic debate.
Agreed- I'd also like to know just who is responsible for Don Samuels' campaign's questionable tactics.

Yet posts from Moore supporters attack Samuels personally. Do these
folks -- Vanessa and Dyna -- speak for the Moore campaign? Does Moore
endorse their views and methods?
Again, I disagree with Don Samuels' on the issues where he has strayed from the DFL's principles. I do not represent the Moore campaign, and my opinions are entirely my own.

peace,

ECCO but confident the whole city benefits when candidates everywhere
engage each other and their consituents.
