Phillips residents to mayor and council: Pay attention to us Chris Graves Star Tribune Published Jan. 5, 2003 Gripping his proposed 2003 tax bill, Gobin Persaud said he wants to know what he's getting for the $28,000 in taxes he'll pay to own an apartment building in the Phillips neighborhood of south Minneapolis.
"I'm paying their wages down there -- of the City Council and the mayor -- and what do we get?" asked Persaud. Franklin Avs. to raise concerns and vent their anger about crime. http://www.startribune.com/stories/462/3572460.html Shawn Lewis, Field Neighborhood -- _______________________________________________ Sign-up for your own FREE Personalized E-mail at Mail.com http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup Meet Singles http://corp.mail.com/lavalife _______________________________________ Minneapolis Issues Forum - A City-focused Civic Discussion - Mn E-Democracy Post messages to: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Subscribe, Unsubscribe, Digest, and more: http://e-democracy.org/mpls
