I haven't really commented on this because I don't think the choice bears on what will happen in my neighborhood. But I do have to say that it is a shame to see two groups making such a fuss over what look like minor differences. I seriously doubt that the choice the voters make between these two individuals will change the city much. I certainly hope they will focus on being squeaky clean and not sully the DFL image any more. I think we have a fairly good collection of CM's in there right now, and some of the regrettable happenings of the Cherryhomes era could now be behind us. But let's not scorch any earth, as if the heavens will fall if one or the other of these guys get in. Just make your case for the best attributes of your guy and then let the voters make their choice. I think the worst of the lot got winnowed out in the primary.
