Al Gallmon sees benefits in church-NAACP ties Declaring that the recent in-house controversies are a thing of the past, the Minneapolis NAACP inaugurated its new president, the Reverend Al Gallmon, on December 30. Gallmon, pastor of the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in North Minneapolis, was inaugurated before his congregation. Along with the entire NAACP Executive Board, Gallmon took the oath of office in a ceremony that was presided over by NAACP Regional Director Gill Ford, who had flown to Minneapolis from Denver for the occasion. http://www.spokesman-recorder.com/news/Article/Article.asp?NewsID=21050&sID=13 Shawn Lewis, Field Neighorhood -- _______________________________________________ Sign-up for your own FREE Personalized E-mail at Mail.com http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup Meet Singles http://corp.mail.com/lavalife _______________________________________ Minneapolis Issues Forum - A City-focused Civic Discussion - Mn E-Democracy Post messages to: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Subscribe, Unsubscribe, Digest, and more: http://e-democracy.org/mpls
