The 2400 or so persons who marched in uptown on January 11 were expressing their opposition to planned military action by the Bush administration against Iraq. Are these people dupes of a terrorist conspiracy? The Bush administration never produced any evidence that Iraq played a role in the 9.11 terrorist attack. And there is plenty of evidence of a Saudi connection. Osama Bin Laden's organization is based in Saudi Arabia. Most of the plane-hijackers were Saudi Arabians who received financial support from Saudi-Arabians. Bin Laden is a Saudi who is part of a right-wing Islamic Fundamentalist movement based in Saudi Arabia and supported by the Saudi government. The plan to invade Iraq isn't about terrorism. It's a cover for military operations by the US for the purpose of controlling access to oil in the Middle East and Central Asia.
