Again, another attack although subtle in nature, it was delivered with a decent amount of fairness. Comments seem to be continually laced with character assassinations. On many occasions I've seen the manager of this site ask people to tone down this behavior.

Please note that Federal Mediation was rescued by Mr. Metoyer. It appears individuals who previously failed are angry or distracted by personal ambition, therefore resorting to stultifying, pugilistic and retaliatory levels of communication. It is my hope that there will be positive growth and development as we move forward with mediation.

Some serious charges were posted against Mr. Metoyer recently regarding his alleged theft of title and ownership of "Federal Mediation Now". I have not seen a response from Mr. Metoyer, but have been party to many discussions where people have proclaimed this type of behavior typical of Metoyer and Basim Sabri, his apparent mentor. I have to admit, the case against Metoyer isn't pretty, but I'd like to hear his side before casting aspersions. If this is true, then Metoyer has done significant damage to the cause of federal mediation in Minneapolis.

From the posting:
In an apparent attempt to dilute the credibility and reputation of the coalition, Zachary Metoyer incorporated under that name on December 23, 2002 and issued a letter using the name "Federal Mediation Now" name to solicit signatures o! n a petition. That petition asked that the so-called "Ministerial Alliance Team" be added to the community negotiating team. Metoyer is not now and has never been a member of the coalition, nor has he sought or obtained permission to use our service mark, which includes our name. A "cease and desist" letter was mailed to Metoyer today, instructing him to stop infringing on our service mark by using the Federal Mediation Now name. Metoyer's timing and use of the Federal Mediation Now name is interesting. After the CNT refused to cave in to pressure to add Olson's picks to the team, Metoyer met with Olson and issued a letter identifying himself as the "President/CEO" of Federal Mediation Now. That letter accompanied the petition. The position Metoyer took is directly contrary to the coalition's actual position.

Subject: [Mpls] Federal Mediation

The ministerial Alliance team is 2 Native Americans, 1 Somali, 1 Asian, 1
Latino/Hispanic, 1 Clergy, 1 African American, 1 African Immigrant, and City
Inc.

Also note that not all CNT members were elected at the R. Green meeting.
Meeting participants were told that the Latino/Hispanic, Asian and Somali
communities had selected their reps sometime before the meeting.

The question is, will we let Federal Mediation go because the community
cannot pull together?
