There are plenty of rooms at the downtown Radisson Hotel for homeless persons in Minneapolis - AND WE, THE TAXPAYERS, HAVE ALREADY PAID $20 MILLION FOR THE ACCOMMODATION.
Let's use of the housing we have already paid for - $500 million in the past ten years!!!!!! The heavily subsidized real estate developers should step up to the plate and DONATE their vacant apartments to house the homeless. Rather than pay an ADDITIONAL $700 per month per mat on the floor, we should save the money and use our available inventory - there are LOTS of vacancies.
