Yes!

The issue is not how many people were or were not in
Washington DC. The issue is that our local paper -
which, combined with local news serves as many
people's gateway to the world - is misreporting
significant news.

If this were a one time mistake, I'd be inclined to
let it go. Everybody makes mistakes.

However, time after time after time, they misreport or
bury stories which has the effect of distorting our
view of reality. Wasn't there recently a demonstration
in front of their building due to this? I know there
are plenty of good reporters at the strib, but
_somebody_ is making these decisions!

The funny thing is that I hear conservatives bemoaning
the "liberal bias" of the reporting industry. At the
same time, I hear liberals bemoaning the right-leaning
bias of that same industry.

It seems to me that the industry has a "status
quo/powers that be" bias.

One thing to keep in mind when reading the paper -
we're not the customer, we're the product.
