List members,The union printer thing is one of the many on the list of pc things one has to do to run as a DFL'er and perhaps that is what is wrong with the party. This issue has taken up far too many posts already.Lisa McDonaldEast HarrietLisa,I usually agree with your insight on here, and no doubt will in the future, but I think you're off the mark on this one. To say that utilizing organize labor is just PC for someone who wants to run as a Democratic Farmer LABOR candidate is kind of a gloss over. I would say that a party who's activist insist that the candidates stick to some of its founding principles, is what's right about the party, not just politically correct. This is a grassroots party, meaning that its up to the local delegates and supporters to decide if its an issue. Throughout the state, the local delegates decide which principles or platform issues are priorities for their candidates in all three parties. (Haven't really got the Independence Party issues down yet). The people posting on this thread are NOT part of Moore's camp, why would you assume they are? They are admitted DFLers who believe that this is an issue. Samuels have some DFLers wroking for him, that do not think its a major issue, they have made their point as well. This is a legit debate between people who support the same party, afterall, they have to choose between two DFLers. I assume that its understandable that some DFL practices will come up for discussion in this race, and its more than just pc to watch closely. The voters will tell us on February 3rd which issues are important to them and you can bet whatever campaign comes through that area next, will implement some of the successful practices. There are plenty of other posts that I feel go on way too much. I just delete them.Eric MitchellMaple Grove
