Tom and David, Written approvals come in the form of Project documents and
plans signed by both the Federal Highway Administration and MN/DOT.
Approvals follow both a legal process and a process dictated by Federal
policy. We may not have these signed approvals for 2 months given the these
processes. The outcome will be as a stated previously. Copies of signed
approvals will be provided to you both and many others when we get them.

Subject: [central-traffic] [Mpls] 35 W Weave and Access

On January 12th Tom Johnson wrote that an agreement
had been made to ensure full access to Lake Street
with MnDot and the Federal Highway department. I wrote
to him on this list on January 13th asking that he
provide letters from MnDot and the Feds to back up his
claims of full access now and in the future. Two
weeks have gone by without an answer.

I again respectfully ask that supportive documentation
be made available to the public.

I agree - this issue is HUGE - the traffic weaves are
likely a major reason that ramps weren't originally
installed at Lake St. - if the weave isn't feasible,
then full access cannot be achieved, which would leave
us wondering what else $153 million of tax dollars can
buy!
