If you wait long enough on this "List", you will find a person who you
disagree on what is seemingly every issue, writing something you agree with.
I am afraid Jordan Kushner has written such a post. I am not sure given the
depths of my disagreements with Kushner if this is his fault or mine.
Perhaps he should redo his post or perhaps I should read it more closely,
but on its surface I cannot find any thing to fault.

After having re-read it for at least three times I am left with the same
impression. That being the case, I am left with one irrefutable conclusion.
IT MUST BE THE TRUTH. Chicago and Lake are as Jordan describes. The Mayor
and "Downtown" are as Jordan describes, only seemingly interested in the
appearance of supporting affordable housing, (and not opening up "Fortress
Neighborhoods"). As Jordan describes, IF Sears had been competently
addressed it would have created real development and change for a 1/4 of
Minneapolis.(This could have created an incredible increase in City tax
revenue, and not the drain that Target and Brookfield became.)

So Jordan, even if I do not like most of your positions, you sure got this
one right.

Keith should not be personally critical of Jordan for his choice to move to
a suburb. Such moves create housing and economic opportunities for others
who want to be part of our city. I know at least one good young lawyer, from
a suburban family, who has chosen to now live in the inner-city. The City
is an "Environmental Eco-System" that regenerates itself. If the Downtown
politicians and non-profit developers don't kill it first.
