A new breeze at City Hall

Don Samuels' astounding 53 percent victory
for the Minneapolis Third Ward City Council
seat on Monday was genuine grass-roots
democracy at work -- a marvelous man of the
people with a vision they really believed
in, brilliant planning and organization,
and the hard work and passion of those who
believed it was possible. That's the recipe
for victory. And it was won without any of
the conventional endorsements or DFL Party
money and resources.

City Hall is going to have a breath of fresh
air and fresh thinking with Don Samuels on board.
