I feel the duct tape and plastic recommendation was a scare tactic to increase Americans' fear of terrorist attacks so we can say "go get them!" Get our spirit up for the unnecessary war to secure our pipeline to the black gold so more of us can drive H2's AND get a HUGE tax deduction for purchasing the H2. Considering the type of terror threats our Homeland inSecurity warned about, ie. dirty bomb, nerve gas attack, etc., you'd need A LOT of duct tape and plastics to fully secure a bubble to prevent any kind of leaks. Regardless, sooner or later, you'll need air to breathe, then what? As a child in a far away country, ravaged by many colonization attempts, they told us to dig caves in case the US decide to use the nuke again. The duct tape and plastic sheets would have the same kind of protection as would the cave. Your best protection in Minneapolis is probably move as far away from the Mall of America as possible. If terrorists like to attack one of America's symbol, that'd be the only one worth their time here in Minnesota. Bush's economy recovery strategy: if you can't get the consumers to spend, scare them to death, then they'll buy some duct tapes and plastic sheets. Have you ever thought about what happens in 20 to 50 years when every country has a nuke and threaten to use it on some other country every other day?
