Last one, everybody.
I was watching the cable show the other day, with the mayor and other officers and they talked about recruitment of minorities to the police department. I made a call to the number that was listed, with a certain officers name, whom I won't mention, unless I truly have to. Anyway, I left a message about the process, this was on Tuesday, no call as of yet. Hmmm, this may be the reason that people of color who are interested aren't taking the police department seriously, they (MPD) are not to serious about calling back.
In order to recruit, you have to call people back, especially if you are telling them to call... DUH! Or perhaps this officer is confused about giving out information, I was not, nor am I the media....
