Greeting's List! Happy Friday,

I have had the pleasure of seeing Elected Alderman, Don Samuels, at work.(Thanks to cable) I was really quite pleased that he spoke up on some housing issues that affected us and involves us. Although, I did not see him in the Human and Health Services meeting, it could have been because he and the Mayor were out serving up meals on wheels with the seniors. (http://www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/news/20030226meals.asp) It seems as though Don is off to a good start. I'm sure our seniors were proud and delighted to have two city officials take time out of their busy schedules and visit them. I personally think that's pretty cool!

It was also good to see some other dialog that had taken place and even while another council member "Zimmerman" stated what "HE" wanted for "HIS" ward, Barb Johnson and Don Samuels, spoke about what the ward wanted. I think this is what this job is all about, the people and the city of Minneapolis. Not Self indulgence.... Way to Go!!

Have a good weekend all~
