This is just a guess, but I'll bet a lot of Minnesota taxpayers would object to making involuntary political contributions to the tune of $17,000 per child in Minneapolis.
This dog and pony show (the small children protesting) should be added to the list of reasons why less than half of Minneapolis students graduate from high school. They may be illiterate - but, boy oh boy, do they have political opinions - in 2nd grade! I agree with Paul Kuettels, the teachers who organized this should be fired.
