Great quote Annie! Stories are the tools and raw material for the dreamweavers of our cultures. Without stories telling that something can occur then their is no possibility of that culture making it ever happen. Quantum physics to magic are absolutely impossible without stories. The now understood physiological control of the autonomic nervous system existed in cultures around the world, but was denied by our doctors until stories of eastern and Chinesse medicine started coming into the medical "culture", then all of a sudden it was possible. That happened only a few years ago. How much else of the magic and "wierd" are only waiting for us to once again tell of them in stories to be abvious and again possible? The inventors of our world are not scientists. The true inventors are the story tellers who make it possible for the inventor to have an idea to work on. It is the DreamWeaver who takes the peoples small stories and dreams and weaves them into the possibilities that are reality.
Have a nice weekend all. Everyone get out there. It may be the last truely great weekend until another freeze makes it mosquito tolerable for those without tolerances for chemicals smeared on the body. Walk, play, enjoy. It is what makes Minneapolis - MINNEAPOLIS! Jim Graham, Ventura Village >"If you ever hope to be a person who has achieved great things you must first have been great dreamer. All others are doomed to failure or mediocrity. So Crickets dream and become the Dreamweavers for others." TEMPORARY REMINDER: 1. Don't feed the troll! Ignore obvious flame-bait. 2. If you don't like what's being discussed here, don't complain - change the subject (Mpls-specific, of course.) ________________________________ Minneapolis Issues Forum - A City-focused Civic Discussion - Mn E-Democracy Post messages to: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Subscribe, Unsubscribe, Digest, and more: http://e-democracy.org/mpls
