I hear what you're saying, Anne. I agree, the majority
population of north Mpls. is white, but the majority's
perception of north Mpls. is nonwhite. Just like on
the east side of Detroit, where Target is closing
another store. (Thanks to Michelle Gross for posting
it...I seldom look at the business section of the
Freep.)

I had to chuckle because the Target spokesperson used
the same words she used about the Broadway Target,
"closing a store is something they don't take
lightly."

Except when the stores are in darkly colored
communities?
