I for one am disappointed with Hennepin County leadership in
regards to the continuing problems with the exterior tile outside the government
center. I would love to own the company that is selling the County those
slippery tiles that are causing me, a Hennepin County resident and many others,
too much mula (translation - money) to replace and to settle liability
cases. How many County procurement employees does it take to screw in a
light bulb, er, procure a slip-free tile?
As a Hennepin County employee I am asked to save paper,
recycle everything, and have witnessed hard working, dedicated employees loose
their jobs due to budget cuts. Yet, those working in charge of making
the decisions to replace the tiles are allowed to make careless decisions
that result in yet more unnecessary expense? Can we stop the
insanity? Commissioners are you paying
attention????!!!*#)*(@!
My bank account cannot handle more of these irresponsible
government decisions. My tax bill has increased from $800 to
$1,350 in almost three years!
This boondoggle doesn't pass my stink test!
