The crowd cheered at everything -- especially when my granddaughter poked her sweet little face out the back window of the Red Saturn VUE we were driving and said "Hello Everyone!" We pitched Frisbees and water bottles and all sorts of fun stuff for the crowd. They cheered like mad every time I honked the horn!
My point is -- I get the feeling that crowd would have cheered for anything -- let alone a sign someone thinks is distasteful :-) .
