Now is the time for Mayor Rybak to tell the citizens of Minneapolis whether or not he 
supports the 35W Access Project.  While I don't agree with County Commissioner Peter 
McLaughlin's position on this issue, he at least had the integrity and honesty to let 
folks know where he stands.  

Several months ago, when Mayor Rybak justified his position against the City Council 
passing a resolution against the war in Iraq and promising to veto such a resolution 
should it pass, he said that no one had asked him his views on foreign policy when he 
was a candidate.  His point was well taken.  But since the 35W Access Project is 
obviously a Minneapolis issue, his hedging on it is rather dishonest and therefore
