Police investigating homicide in south Minneapolis

Police are trying to determine the 
motive in the apparent shooting death 
of a person in south Minneapolis 
Thursday night.

Officers responded to a report of gunshots 
at 2801 Park Av. S. in the Phillips 
neighborhood about 11:40 p.m. and found
the male victim dead. His body was found 
between a rock flower planter and several 
Dumpsters, in an area between apartment 
buildings.
