I do believe that Peter was correct in his empathy for David Brauer's hopes of getting a response to his questions from city hall.
I am rather familiar with that ringing sound of silence.
My own personal experience with the Mayor's office has led me to send important communication via certified mail (no joke) just so I can prove the Mayor's office actually received it.
Of course, now I have proof he received it...but still no response. The Mayor said he wanted information about how other cities have dealt with ending the criminalizing of people who are homeless so he could then form a response. I was hopeful that he would give me some response to the 270 page report I had bound and sent to him that specifically addressed this issue.
It has been months and still nothing...
So, in addition to David's questions...my question again to the Mayor is: When is he going to speak out against the criminalizing of people for being homeless?
