I asked Mr. Feline in a PRIVATE e-mail about what happened in 1974. I was 9 years old in 1979 and the events in Luring Park were not high on my radar at the time.
I STRONGLY object to him quoting ME as saying "what is the problem with hundreds of people being evicted from their homes because their rents tripled." I did not say that. He knows I did not say that. His post is clearly and intentionally misleading. The entire PRIVATE e-mail I sent to Mr. Feline is copied below. I apologize this tiff was aired on the forum.
