Zack Metoyer posted this yesterday re my Heritage Park ooze article:
"The Star Tribune quoted the developer today saying "a contractor
worked on the playgrounds." This is not true. The city worked on the
playgrounds."

I would dispute Zack's assertion. I was at Outlot A on Monday and
spoke with the crew that was excavating and placing drain tile in the
totlots. They identified themselves as working for Ramsey Excavating.
I later confirmed this with company owner Al Ramsey. I know what city
vehicles look like and these were not city vehicles. Perhaps Zack was
referring to some other work or the public playgrounds on the city
portion of the development. These totlots are within the two outlots,
or blocks, that are the responsibility of the private developer.
