[Mpls] Yep, the gangbangers are migrating... just had 7 shots fired in Hawthorne

	Another bad night in the Mill City. Just after bar closing shots were 
fired outside the Gay 90s, ambulances called but haven't heard a call 
for homicide detectives yet- hopefully the victim(s) will recover. Here 
in Hawthorne, we heard several shots about 3 am and I saw a young man 
bail from a beater car and run through the yard next to mine. 
Unfortunately by the time understaffed MPD officers could respond what 
looked to be the same perp had jumped into another car and sped off. To 
their credit, the officers did a thorough search of the neighborhood 
and could apperently find no perps, bodies, etc..

	Sounds like it's time to start sleeping with our shoes on again, 
cellphones in our pockets and ready to run. Anybody know much about the 
bullet stopping properties of wood frame and stucco with 4 inches of 
insulation versus concrete block? Inquiring minds need to know...

	Looks like I'll maybe get to sleep about dawn, good thing I work 
afternoons, And I think I'll spend my next couple days, and more 
importantly nights off, anywhere but Minneapolis!
