[Mpls] state troopers

At National Night Out produced and directed by Central Weed & Seed in 
Green Central Park, I spoke to Dep. Chief Lubinski. She said the 
troopers will be split between 4th and 3rd precinct. Lubinski estimates 
the troopers will be here for four to six weeks. They are paired in 
squad cars with a partner from the precinct where they are serving.
An aside: she looked pretty snazzy in her new, gold shield stating 
"Deputy Chief," and she has two gold birds on her collar tips. 
Impressive. This new state of affairs will be formally acknowledged just 
before the city council meeting on Friday, August 22, 8:50 am, City 
Hall, a.k.a. "the courthouse" or "the old courthouse."
Lubinski was a very good choice for the Chief to have made to fill a 
deputy position.
