Minneapolis Records 30th Homicide

Minneapolis police are investigating their
30th homicide of the year.

Authorities say 19-year-old Charles Lake Junior
was found shot to death inside a vehicle in a
yard on Irving Avenue before dawn.

Police were called to the location about
3:20 a-m after gun shots were fired and
neighbors called 9-1-1.

No one has been arrested in the death.
It is the city's 30th homicide this year,
five more than there were at this time
last year.
