To MCDA Communications mailing list members, As you may have heard, there is a reorganization of the city's planning and development function underway. The MCDA is becoming part of a new city department--the department of Community Planning and Economic Development (CPED).
With this change, the Communications Office at the MCDA will be merged with the City of Minneapolis Communications Department at City Hall. The new, combined office will provide communications support to CPED. During the next several months we will review MCDA communications activities, including the news releases and newsletter distributed to this list, as well as the need for and use of this mailing list. Marjorie Casey has left MCDA to pursue other opportunities, and Elizabeth Haugen and I are scheduled to move from our offices at the MCDA to City Hall on August 25. Please feel free to contact us, or other members of City Communications, with any questions you may have or information you may want. Our e-mail addresses, effective Aug. 25, will follow the city's e-mail format ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). Our new phone numbers, as well as the contact information for other staff members, are listed below. Thank you for your interest in MCDA projects and programs and development in the City of Minneapolis. We look forward to continued communications with you during and after this transition.
