I agree with Tim.  I have had hundreds of bounced checks over the years.
I have even had tenants write checks for their last month's rent just
before they are moving out on closed accounts to buy enough time so that
I can not evict them before the end of their last month, and the police
will not even take the report, let alone prosecute!
