[Mpls] Another sickening crime in Minneapolis

I am acquainted with the gentleman who lies in a coma at HCMC.  I cannot imagine anyone kicking and beating such an unassuming, gentle man nearly to death.  There was nothing in the newspaper regarding a stranger assault that nearly resulted in murder on the West Bank.  I have a theory regarding the West Bank, here it is-- 1. Our  poverty rate, nearly 50% 2. Poverty pimp owners and developers who feel their only duty as a management agent is to collect the rent and pay themselves well with tax dollars, allowing known criminals to continue to operate while living or visiting the properties they are responsible for. 3. High immigrant population without the right to vote that are low income and English is not their first language. 4. Only  10% homeownership. Due to the inherent problems listed above I believe they have decided to "let it go".  I believe there is a case for "unequal" protection in a court of law.   There are dozens of assaults not reported, crime that equals or exceeds Phillips and Jordan on a per capita basis, and  I believe we are being discriminated against due to race and the income level of our neighborhood.    Armed robbery, daylight home burglaries with the resident there, auto thefts, aggravated assaults with and without knives and guns, threatened gang rape, etc. are occurring on a daily basis.  If this were happening in SW Minneapolis it would cease within days or hours.   I suggest that any money the city is considering for "neighborhood" NRP luxuries should be immediately spent on hiring additional officers, and perhaps asking the Governor for a few weeks of "homeland" security with the National Guard.   Arrest and incarcerate please!!!   Sincerely, Barbara Murray Riverside Park Who won't walk there without one of my dogs, the 70 lb.
