But on what street should people be driving then,
please?

Don't get me wrong here - speeding on a one-way (or
any street for that matter) is dangerous and shouldn't
be done... but: those who decide to live on streets
such as Park, Portland, 28th, 26th, etc. should -in my
view- understand that these roads attract and
accomodate more traffic than a side-street.

I use my bike to get most places when the weather is
something less than aweful. When I need to use my car
however, (like taking my pets to the vet or buying a
load of groceries) I use the aforementioned one-ways
religiously. It's easier, and as far as I can see,
that's what they are there for.

By the way, since I reminded myself about bikes and
one-ways in the same breath, does anyone know why
there are no bike lanes on 26th or 28th? (I try to
take the greenway but it doesn't go all the way down
to my 'hood unfortunately.
