Not sure if this is a slam or not Terrill - but besides watching the weather and following it in several different places I have used the Farmer's Almanac for years and years especially in regards to planting and keeping up with my garden. Maybe not up to date but the tidbits of information throughout the yearly guide gives one a broad overview of what one might expect. It has proved more true than not during my years and years of its use.
Not sure what it has to do with park and rec "folks" - it was my own personal observation that I actually had discussed with some friends just the other night who happen to concur.
Oh well, are your weather sources any more reliable - as I recall, the weather forecasters have been off more than on most days in the past couple of years.

[TB] Glad to see the park and rec. folks are using the most up to date sources of information.
