On Sunday, September 28, over eighty Minnesotans will board buses and begin a 9 day Freedom Ride to push for the rights of Immigrant workers. They'll be stopping in numerous cities to tell their stories, rally with supporters, and educate the public about the need for immigration reform. They'll eventually end up in Washington, D.C., where they will join freedom riders from all over the country to lobby congress, and then they'll all caravan to New York City for a mass rally in front of the Statue of Liberty.
These Minnesotans are making serious commitments of time, energy, and money to make this trip. We need to support them.

Thursday, September 25 5:30-9:00 pm Powderhorn Park, South Minneapolis (at the southern end of the park, near 35th St and 15th Ave)
There will be free food, great music, dancers and more. Most importantly, come to show your support for this historic ride.
