It's not easy being a direct service nonprofit in 2003.
All of us are facing budget cuts - locally and federally - and we're not very
popular when we start saying that without public funds (read taxes) we
can't do what we need to do. YouthLink is celebrating 25 years as a
nonprofit working with homeless and at-risk youth. Those 25 years represent
highs and lows and everything in between. This event is not a fundraiser
but, literally, a celebration of a lasting commitment to help young people get
what they need to become successful and independent
adults.
Come party with
us.

Twenty-five years of providing services to homeless and
at-risk youth translates roughly as 250,000 meals served, intensive case
management for 5000 young people, and a lot of hot showers and safe housing.
There will be food prepared by our chef-in-training program,
tours of the building and great music by Aaron Keith Stewart
and lots of fun!
We would be honored to have
you celebrate with us!
