[TB] One wonders how many of the 80-some fiefdom names the typical (say one who does not spend significant time at City Hall) reader of this list can identify. Looking at the City's list of "neighborhoods" (see http://www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/citywork/planning/census2000/1990-to-2000-Population-Change-by-Neighborhood.asp) How many can identify the location of Beltrami (not the county up north)?, Northeast Park? Mid City Ind Area (yes, the census says people live there)? Wenonah? Where do the 128 residents of Downtown East live? Is it really a neighborhood if nobody lives there (Humbolt Ind. Area in both 1990 and 2000)? Terrell Brown Loring Park (formerly Central Park) (it's in the 7th Ward) __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo!
